Rowntree Heritage Walk

We have developed a ‘Rowntree Heritage Walk’, which is a trail that focuses on the heritage buildings, sports facilities and green spaces along the Haxby Road, close to the site of the Rowntree factory, including Yearsley Swimming Baths, the Joseph Rowntree Memorial Library, the Joseph Rowntree Theatre, and New Earswick.

We have also launched a new mobile app for the walk on the izi platform, featuring archival photographs and video content.
